MISSION STATEMENT
The Rhino Social and Environmental Responsibility Team (S.E.R.T.) coalition is focused on driving Rhino’s social and environmental legacy via 3 core initiatives:
EDUCATION
Partnering with outside organizations to provide education to the Rhino community about social justice and environmental causes.
- Hosting teach-ins about crucial social and environmental causes by community leaders
- Equipping Rhinos with the necessary information and resources to enact positive change in the community through their daily lives.
ACTION
Using our coalition’s resources to bring opportunities to Rhinos for actionable change in our community.
- Providing a reactive fund for individual employee-led initiatives that serve the Southern California community
- Establishing volunteer opportunities to promote Rhino engagement
- “Adopting” organizations to create long-term partnerships
- Hosting donation drives to provide tangible help to communities in need
- Working with other (Rhino and corporate) employee coalitions to support their outreach efforts
MESSAGING
Ensuring that Rhino as a company commits itself as a leader in enacting positive change to our local and global community.
- Setting attainable goals for Rhino improve its positive impact on the community
- Striving to reduce Rhino’s footprint by constantly challenging our status quo
- Uplifting the work of other employee coalitions and partner organizations
